Conference Schedule – Call for Proposals

We are currently accepting Conference Program Proposals and proposals for webinars.  Please fill out the linked online form linked below.

  • Fall Workshop topics are reviewed from March to May.
  • Symposium topics are reviewed from July – Oct.
  • Webinar topics are continuously reviewed.

Once your program is accepted we will be applying for contact hours from the Wisconsin Nurses Association and NAB clock hours for nursing home administrator credits.  We are required to have the BIO Conflict of Interest and Educational Planning Table filled out prior to your program(s) acceptance. It is required by WNA CAEP.

For potential presenters. Our audience is mostly directors of nursing, nurse executives, assistant directors of nursing, managers, and nursing leadership and wound nurses working in the long-term care continuum.  Their years of experience can vary greatly but we want to focus on advanced topics relatable to those nursing professionals working in skilled nursing, post-acute care, long-term care, assisted living, hospice, and other professionals who work with or for these organizations.

CONFLICT OF INTEREST: Education contact hours for attendees does NOT allow for a presentation to be given by someone with a Conflict of Interest. For the purposes of our planning, we follow the guidelines set for by the Wisconsin Nurses Association Continuing Education Approval Program. “an affiliation or relationship of a financial nature with a Commercial Interest Organization that might bias a person’s ability to objectively participate in the planning, implementation, or review of a learning activity”. ANCC defines a Commercial Interest organization as any entity producing, marketing, re‐selling, or distributing healthcare goods or services consumed by or used on patients, or an entity that is owned or controlled by an entity that produces, markets, re‐sells or distributes healthcare goods or services consumed by, or used on, patients. Exceptions are made for certain types of nonprofit or government organizations, non‐healthcare‐related companies, healthcare facilities, and group medical practices.

Please contact Melissa before you fill out the Speaker Proposal Form if you have questions about the potential conflict of interest of a speaker.
